Chengdu (Sichuan dialect international phonetic alphabet: /tsʰən˨˩tu˧sɿ˨˩˧/), also known as "Rongcheng", "Jinguancheng", "Jincheng", abbreviated as "Rong" and "Jin", is located in the central part of Sichuan Province, China, in the hinterland of the Chengdu Plain in the west of the Sichuan Basin. It is the capital of Sichuan Province, a sub-provincial city, and a national central city. It is the logistics, trade, finance, science and technology, culture, education center and transportation and communication hub in western China. It is also the location of the Joint Operations Command of the Western Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army of China [5] and a national pilot zone for coordinated urban and rural comprehensive supporting reforms. Wuxi City, referred to as "Xi", is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. It is a Type I large city [139] and is located in the eastern part of China and the southern part of Jiangsu Province. It is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the north, Taihu Lake in the south, Suzhou City in the east, Changzhou City in the west, Huzhou City in Zhejiang Province and Xuancheng City in Anhui Province in the south and southwest. It is a city in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta [6] and a member city of the Shanghai Metropolitan Area [140]. Jiuzhaigou County (Tibetan: གཟི་རྩ་སྡེ་དགུ་རྫོང་།, Willy transliteration: gzi-rtsa sde-dgu rdzong[2], Tibetan pinyin: Sirza Degu Zong) is a county under the jurisdiction of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. It is located in the northeast of Aba, bordering Gansu Province. The county government is located in Nanping Town, and the county seat is about 1,400 meters above sea level. Jiuzhaigou County was originally named Nanping County. It was established in 1953 from the former Songpan County. Because of the famous World Heritage Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area in the territory, it was renamed Jiuzhaigou County on June 19, 1998.
